I work on all of our servers onsite, but every now and again i need to dial up to a server offsite and i wish i could find a way to automate the vpn dialup/disconnect.

It would be really cool if when i click on a server in royal TS, Royal TS would use on of my VPN Dialups I've created in Windows XP's Network Connections, or let me type in the IP Address Username and password into Royal TS. i would be great if it connected and then disconected when the server was logged off. Perhapps if you could also choose whether to use the local gateway or the one at the vpn site it would be a benificial option.

Hi Dean,

did you take a look at the tasks feature? A task let's you specify some command line which can be executed on demand using the tasks menu or automatically when a connection is started or finished. If you can automate your VPN dialup/shutdown with some commands, you will be able to integrate those into Royal TS.

cheers,
Stefan
