Very strange. Can you record a short video to demonstrate the behavior? I'm really stuck here and I'm not sure how to help... You can contact me directly at stefan.koell(-at-)code4ward.net Thanks, Stefan

I've just released a new update. Flickering is gone now: http://www.code4ward.net/dl/RoyalTS/R... Let me know if this solves your issue...

The build 11122 is now shipped with all the assemblies individually and also has a ngen.cmd file which should help you with the pre-compile. There are a couple of warnings in the output but you can ignore them. Startup speed on my virtualized machine is now below 2.5 sec.

Seems like your download was interrupted and the .msi is corrupt. Try to redownload but with an additional querystring at the end to trick any proxy server into redownloading the package from scratch: http://download.code4ward.net/c4w/fil...

I've received the crash reports (thanks for that!) and was able to at least suppress the crash but the I couldn't really find the root cause. Is this always reproducable on your file(s)? If so, can you give me the exact repro steps?

Thanks for your input, guys! I'm also trying to keep the overhead low on our side so I guess as a primary distribution channel we will use the .msi which deploys all assemblies separately for release builds and for beta builds we will provide a .zip file with all the files separately to ensure ng...

I think I misunderstood. So you don't want to bulk-edit credential objects, instead you want to bulk-edit connections and probably change the credentials or something. In order for me to repro the issue, can you either send a screenshot of your credential configuration in the bulk-edit dialog or ...

I'm talking only about the beta deployment here. For release deployment we decided to ship all .dlls separately and the .msi will take of ngen. Once you have used windows installer to install it you shouldn't move the directory or files anyway. Most users will just install and use it and performa...

That would work. But then deployment and handling wouldn't be that simple anymore. You need to be careful when you move it around, you always need to include all the .dlls and once you've ngen-ed it, you will lose pre-compilation as soon as you move it to another directory. To be honest, I have n...

Just an updated on the ngen issue. As it turns out, the packaging we chose (a single .exe containing all dependencies) is preventing ngen from successful pre-compilation. We decided to keep the single .exe packaging for the beta releases because it's much more easier to handle. When we are r...

Hi! Bulk-edit in this version is only supported for connections. We plan to extend the bulk-edit capability in one of the next releases. But you shouldn't get a crash. You should get a message box telling you that bulk-edit for credentials will not work. Can you send a screen shot of the crash? T...

HiYou can run V2 beta side by side with your current version and you can also use your 1.7 license key with V2 beta. Keep in mind that V2 might still have issues. Explore our blog posts for more information on V2.cheers!

Can you try to upgrade to 1.6.10 (available here: http://www.code4ward.net/main/Forums/...)? Note that 1.6.10 requires .NET Framework version 4 (Full Profile) installed. A common pitfall here is that most users already have installed the Client Profile (which is not enought to work for Royal TS) ...

What happens if you select multiple connections in the list and click on the Edit -> Properties button? Do you get an error message? If not, can you look at the activity log (using the View menu) to see if there's something pointing to an error? cheers, Stefan
