If you double-click the icon. You can watch the outer window frame appear (with the File menu, top bar Min/Max/X etc) and the Navigate appears - then the connections within those. Finally, the inner window (the big area) where the connections are listed (not the tree view) appears (fair...

Hi Stefan, darn !! Are you also seeing a noticeable "slowness" around the actual startup display (it starts, "rolls" in the outer frame and then "flashes" the connections into the middle window? If so, that's fine - just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me !

Startup Speed
 
Here we go again. Just upgrade from 1.6.10 to 1.7.2.1000. Startup speed (from double-clicking icon) to being ready is around 5s again. Anyone any clues on how to speed this up. Running on 8way, x64, Win7, 16Gb RAM. In prior versions we ngen'd the exe and dll's to pre-compile but I think...
